ENTSO-EOn 18 February ENTSO-E is organizing a workshop which will bring together stakeholders from the offshore energy and infrastructure sector. This event is a follow-up of our first energy offshore stakeholder workshop which took place in April 2024.
Continuing the work initiated in 2024, ENTSO-E is in the early stages of developing a roadmap of the work ahead to address the challenges to make the future offshore system a reality. The primary objective of this workshop will be to gather the input of all relevant stakeholders and technical partners to feed into this work.
The workshop will focus on six key topics that ENTSO-E has identified as priorities at this stage:
- Geographic areas and offshore bidding zones
- Balancing
- Frequency control
- Ramping
- Inertia/grid forming capabilities
- Dynamic stability
