ENTSO-ECommission Regulation (EU) 2017/1485 of 2 August 2017 establishing a guideline on electricity transmission system operation (SO GL) sets requirements on transmission system operators to coordinate the dynamic stability assessments and to conduct a common study per synchronous area regarding the required minimum inertia in the region.
ENTSO-E has already organised two stakeholder workshops – 23 May and 10 December 2018 - with the aim to give an overview of current practices in the different synchronous areas and the planned coordination.
The 3rd and last stakeholder workshop will follow up on the conclusions from the last workshop and use the open topics and questions to stir up the discussions around the relevant activities within ENTSO-E on implementation of the SO GL requirements.
